AC won the EMMY Award for “Outstanding Choreography of a Television Special” for his innovative work set on Olympic figure skating champions for the world renowned Stars on Ice.

Ciulla was honored with a TONY Award nomination for his work in Broadway’s hit musical Footloose and won the FANY (Peoples Choice Award) for best choreography on Broadway. Off-Broadway he choreographed Billy Porter's Theatre Guild Award nominated musical Ghetto Superstar.


His staging and choreography in Kirsten Child’s critically acclaimed musical The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin starring TONY winner LaChanze earned him a Lucille Lortel Award nomination as well as an Audelco Award nomination for "Outstanding Choreography." AC will be choreographing Kirsten's new musical Funked Up Fairy Tales.

He received rave reviews for an all-star Broadway cast benefit concert of the musical Chess at the Ford Amphitheater in L.A. starring TV's "Glee" star Mathew Morrison. Ciulla co-created and choreographed the hit Vegas show Toni Braxton- Revealed at The Flamingo Showroom. He also staged the six time Grammy Award winning recording artist’s celebrated 2006 LIBRA tour and live NBA All-star performance. Other recording artists who have performed AC's choreography include Ne-Yo, Chaka Khan, Peabo Bryson, EDEN’S CRUSH of WB’s “Popstars,” Freedom Williams of the dance sensation C&C Music Factory, Christina Vidal of the Nickelodeon sitcom "Taina" and the amazing Billy Porter.

Ciulla created, directed and choreographed the critically acclaimed Broadway musical theater reviews Nights on Broadway II & III for Caesar’s in Atlantic City. AC choreographed the film Gray Matters starring Heather Graham and Tom Cavanaugh. His work has also been seen in many commercials such as INTEL, Dr.PEPPER featuring Travis Wall of "SYTYCD," a musical E*TRADE spot, which aired as one of the top five commercials during Super Bowl 2002 and he directed and choreographed 1-800-OK-CABLE dance spots. Currently his choreography can be seen on the new PBS version of the classic children's TV show "The Electric Company."

Recently, AC received rave reviews for his innovative and diverse work in the world premiere of the musical Vices: A Love Story!
