Galen Hooks has over a decade of experience and is one of the most respected dancers in the industry – and she’s only 22. Throughout her career, Galen has covered dance in all of its bases: live shows with Janet Jackson, music videos with Prince, an opera with Placido Domingo, a Nike ad in Vogue Magazine – she’s done it all.   Galen trained with Marguerite Derricks and Michael Rooney, and has since worked closely as a dancer and choroeographer with top names such as Jamie King, Fatima Robinson, and Jamaica Craft. 

Galen has danced with Janet Jackson, Chris Brown, Prince, Ciara, Neyo, Rhianna, Fergie, the Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg, Eve, Amerie, Pharrell, and many more!  Film credits include "Austin Powers 3", "Bratz", "A Time for Dancing" and the upcoming Zac Efron film "17 Again".  TV credits include Cold Case, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, All My Children, MAD TV, various awards shows and talk shows, and many more! 

As a choreographer, Galen has worked with artists like Hilary Duff, the Jonas Brothers, Ciara, Fergie, Blondie, Neyo, Keri Hilson, the Dream, and Victoria's Secret model Alina Puscau.

TV choreography includes ABC's "Greek", Lifetime's "Your Mama Don't Dance", assistant choreographer for Disney's "Camp Rock", associate choreographer for 2008 Fashion Rocks and the 2008 MTV Movie Awards opening with Mike Myers and Chris Brown.  Galen received a 2008 Choreography Media Honor for Fergie's "Live and Let Die" on CBS's "Movies Rock". 

Galen is currently the Associate Co-choreographer for the Broadway revival of "Dreamgirls."
