Known for his intense style of teaching Jeremy Miller has a gift for transcending his raw talent and passionate nature into inspiring dancers, thus passing along his drive and enthusiasm while making good technique attainable for all ages and abilities. He specializes on educating the dancer on body awareness and opening minds to see and perceive movement from a new perspective. His gift for teaching jazz technique gives dancers a concrete foundation to build upon by focusing on the importance of conscious movement and body alignment emphasizing a kinetic perspective that breaks down movement quality from the very basic mechanics to complex physics.
Jeremy has taught master classes , workshops, and set pieces Internationally with Step Accademea de Danza in Padua, Italy. Nationally for professional dance companies like Cedar Lake Ensemble in New York City along with dance studios, high schools and Universities across the United States. He is currently guest teaching at
Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway where he teaches Contemporary Jazz. Jeremy is quickly building a name for himself as a challenging technical teacher with great energy! Jeremy's unique and innovative style of choreography has been showcased across the country and now in Italy. He is excited to continue his work with dancers in New York and abroad.
Jeremy began dancing at age 7 with former Original Radio City Rockette, Jan Granath. Jeremy's passion and dedication to dance gave him the opportunity to start working professionally at the age of fourteen. Performing on stage and in commercials, television, industrials and film, for companies such as Disney, Ragu, UPN Network, Radio Shack, Ski Doo, Quorum, Intel, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, Holland America Cruise Line, and Chip n Dales USA. At the age of 21 Jeremy founded and created "The BEAT" performing arts center where he trained young children and adult dancers in all forms of dance in his home town Phoenix, AZ.
Jeremy has the ability to turn hopeful dancers into working professional dancers providing them with the tools required to achieve any and all goals. As founder, creator and working director of The BEAT Fusion Dance Company, Jeremy lead three successful seasons '99-'02 and gave local AZ dancers the opportunity to train and perform in a professional atmosphere, along with providing exposure to industry leading choreographers. Jeremy's dancers have gone on to work professionally with the Radio City Rockettes, Disney LIVE, Glee, Holland America Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise lines, So You Think You Can Dance, Beyonce, The Black Eyed Peas, M&M American Dance Theatre- just to name a few. Jeremy has been blessed to work with some of the most amazing talent that is out there today and is excited about the continuing forward progression of his career.
